🗓 PROGRAM

What happens during Open Camp?

It is a time slot intended for campers to carry out activities of their own volition such as football games, swimming, enjoying the water park, sitting in the shade to chat or enjoying an ice cream.

What does M.E.S.A. time mean?

We firmly believe that the best moments are those embraced with intention. Each facilitator will have the mission of creating time to remember God's goodness, listen to the camper, experience healing in their heart, and be affirmed by the group or facilitator. This is where we reach the camper's heart directly.

What kind of music will be played at the camp?

Contemporary Christian music during worship. During recreational activities, energetic music appropriate for young audiences and carefully selected based on lyrics and context.

Does Monteverde offer the praise?

In shared camps, we can merge the participating churches. In exclusive camps, the church can bring its own worship team or use Monteverde's equipment.

Is it possible to modify anything in the program, menu, or activities?

The Monteverde program is comprehensive and designed from start to finish. At exclusive camps, the church can lead the worship and audience sessions. The menu is designed for young people and is not customized for each camper, but if you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know.

Does the schedule have a lot of auditorium time or activity time?

Eighty to ninety percent of the time is dedicated to activities (lake, sports, Olympics, mini-fair). The remaining time is for auditorium gatherings, worship, and talks. Monteverde believes the program should be intense, not boring.

What will be the theme of the camp?

Each camp has a theme designed by the Monteverde team. For exclusive camps, the church can propose or adjust the theme in collaboration with the team.

Who will be the speaker or talker?

At shared camps, Monteverde provides the speaker. At exclusive camps, the church can bring its own speaker—who does not pay camp admission.

How long does the camp last, and what are the arrival and departure times?

The camp lasts 3 days. Arrival is on Friday (or Saturday if there's a long weekend) and departure is on Sunday (or Monday if there's a long weekend). Exact times are included in the pre-camp preparation kit.

📦 LOGISTICS

Is there WiFi at the campsite?

No. Cell phones are handed in upon arrival and returned upon departure. The camp is an intentional digital detox experience.

What should campers bring?

Clothes for 3 days, toiletries, swimwear, sandals, athletic shoes, and a good attitude. The prep team sends the complete list to the campers.

Does it include photos and videos?

Yes. The Monteverde audiovisual team documents the camp and delivers a package of photos and videos to each church at the end. That's why we ask for cell phones: so we can document everything.

Yes, Monteverde has parking for private vehicles.

Where is Monteverde Camp located?

Km 4 Via La Pintada – Valparaíso (We share a Google Maps pin in the preparation kit)

Is transportation included?

What does the camp include?

Accommodation, all meals, access to all facilities and activities, volunteer team, lifeguards, nursing, photos and videos of the camp.

⛪ CHURCHES

Who distributes or assigns the rooms?

The Monteverde team assigns rooms according to group sizes (5 campers + 1 facilitator per room). The church may suggest groupings, and the team makes every effort to respect them.

Is it possible to rent just the place and we'll bring everything?

No. Monteverde offers the camp as a complete experience. We do not rent the space separately.

If the church takes most of the campers to shared camp, can the program be adapted?

In shared camp, the program is the standard Monteverde program. Auditorium and worship customization is only available in exclusive camp.

If we have exclusive camp and provide our own speaker, does the price change?

Price variations depending on the option are discussed in the personalized quote. Contact us to discuss your specific case.

What is the difference between an exclusive camp and a shared one?

In shared camp, your church shares the space with other churches, and Monteverde leads the entire program. In exclusive camp (when capacity is reached), the space is reserved for your church, and you can lead the worship and audience sessions.

What is the minimum group size to book the camp?

The minimum is 50 campers plus 10 facilitators (1 per room). If your church is smaller, we can integrate it into a shared camp with other churches.

Do we handle all the logistics or does Monteverde?

Monteverde takes care of absolutely everything: the program, meals, lodging, activities, volunteer team, and spiritual moments. The church only has to enjoy itself.

Yes. Before the camp, Monteverde conducts a training session for the facilitators where we explain what to expect, how to support their group, and how to make the most of every moment of the camp.

Do the facilitators have to arrive with the campers or can they arrive later?

Ideally, they should arrive with the campers from the start. If there's a special case, coordinate it with the Monteverde team in advance.
